She died of cardiac arrest this morning. When her husband, Simon Monjack, and her got married back in 2007, and friend said that Monjack was a con artist. I don't know the details, but they believed he married her for money. Now she's dead, and it'll be interesting to find out how she died, and if he's at all involved with her murder. I know she just died this morning, and they don't know how she died until a coroner does the autopsy. I just found that interesting, about people calling him a con artist. I don't know if that was something that people believed up to her death, or if their perception of him got better after their marriage, but i found it interesting. I promise this is the last aquarium question today! ; - ) I have set up a 20 gallon river tank ecosystem. ( With several of you guys helping!) If you've not seen one before, they consist of a 20 gallon tank with a large backdrop built in. The backdrop contains ledges, plants, pools, and waterfalls. This is my question. I added three dwarf African frogs to the tank. They will obviously be able to climb on the backdrop area. There is a 1/8 to 1/4 in gap where the aquarium hood meets the tank due to cords. Is this a large enough gap for the frogs to escape - or do these aquatic frogs even do that sort of thing? I know that fire bellied toads are escape artists from terrariums but am not sure about these frogs. Any ideas?

Is it ok to just let a puppy scratch in his crate?

Ok before anyone starts giving me the knee-jerk advice: YES he gets exercise 2-3x a day. He also has been given praise and treats while in the crate. He has never been in there for more than a few hours either. This is a 5 month old male Maltese by the way. So anyway my question is: is it OK like at 5am when I'm at my wits end to just let him scratch, bite the wires, bark and in general FREAK out? wont hel eventually learn it gets him nowhere if I don't say anything, look at him or let him out? He seems to have quieted down and even stopped the hyperventilated breathing... but it's like I can't tie him up ever anywhere either or he barks his head off. My sister in law has a almost 4 YO and is due tomorrow with her second. My husband and I have a 2 Yo daughter. My daughter is generally very good at playing with others even though she doesn't have anyone to constantly be "sharing" with ect. She LOVES her cousin and loves to see him/play with him. He HATES her. He is a monster all the time; but he especially has a problem playing with girls in general. At his daycare he is always mean to the girls more then they boys ect. And as it is he rarely plays with others even at school. My SIL is a terrible mother. She desperatly wanted a girl with him and with the baby that is about to be born, but both are boys. She certainly hasn't been a 'good" mother. She lets the TV watch her son while she watches TV in the other room. THis would be 100% different had he been a girl. I try to keep my daughter away from my SIL and her cousin as much as I can because they are not good people. They are total low lifes who take advantage of my enabling MIL. My MIL is another story. She and I have never gotten along. We are generally civil and have occionally had a few good times but basically we tolerate each other. She thinks her grandson is the most amazing thin on earth, as she should; but well beyond the tolearble point. My MIL and FIL have my nephew ALOT like 50% of the time and when he was younger probably 70% of the time. Granted my SIL is also there with him most of the time; but not always. Being as they take care of him so much and see how unmotherly my SIL is you'd think they'd make an attempt to instill some basic thins in him. Like sharing and not hitting ect. And just being a decent person in general. But my MIL says it's not her job. TO me when you have him as much/more then his parents, it sort of becomes partly your job. He physically harms my daughter in front of my MIL ans she shakes it off as 'o he's only 4 he doesn't know better". Well at 2 my daughter knows better. She dropped a ball that literally touched his leg and he turned around standing less then 2 feet away from her and chucked a basketball at the side of her head. Thank god she was OK and my husband and I were there to take her home immediatly; but we had been inside while my MIL was watching them. All she said to my nephew was that it wasn't nice. WHen I made a bi deal out of it she said "well she hit him with a ball". I responded "no she dropped a ball that touched his leg that is NOT the same" and she literally shrugged. My daughter is never alone at my SIL's house. But occionally my In-laws watch her (never for longer then 2-3 hours). However I never know when her cousin will be dropped off at the same time. I don't want to keep her from her grandparents because she loves them and they love her. However my MIL seriously doesn't do anything to protect my dauhter from her cousin and tells me "they're kids it's fine". Well they may be little and yes accidents happen but to blatently disregard her safety is not OK; just because he was their first grandson and he is so close to them. I don't know what to do. With her baby about to be born I know I will be asked to baby sit the 4 YO and I honestly do not want him here. He is destructive mean and does NOT listen to a sinle word you say to him. So my best guy friend LOVES my best gall friend. Faint line 11 dpo first response? Help!?

I took a test 10dpo and got a neg on an Answer test. Then that night my started hurting and got a little swollen. That usually doesn't happen 5-6 days from my period. Anyway, today 11 dpo I took a FResponse test and after like 2 min I could see what looked like a shadow of a line. So i walked away. I didn't wait the 3 full min (wasn't thinking...my 1st pregnancy showed up in like 5 seconds). So I got to thinking about it and a while later, I went back and got it out of the trash to see a faint line. It was darker on the bottom end because of the way it was laying in the trash. Anyway, I know it says not to read the test after 10 min, but every forum I have read says a positive is a positive due to the fact that it's is meant to read the hormone. So even a faint line wouldn't show unless there was hormone detection? What do you think? Obviously I will retest in a few days, but my question is: Is a faint line, even after time has ped, still a positive with First response?

This afternoon (Sunday) my boss's boss calls me, asks if I have a minute, and then says she is afraid she has some bad news. When the boss finally speaks again, I find out the bad news is that one of my co-workers young sons met with his untimely tragic death yesterday, and she wants all of the staff to meet to go over how the schedules are going to change while my co-worker takes an indefinite leave of absence to deal with unexpected serious crisis. I hate to admit this, but for the first 3-5 seconds, my initial reaction was one of relief that I still had my job, and then I quickly turned to deeply grieving and hurting for my colleague and the horrible loss of her son. It is extemely hot in San Diego in September. My ceremony will be aroud 4 pm in a patio surrounding by pillars covered in ivy and the reception is indoors nearby immediately following the ceremony. My son goes to preschool and has been doing so good all year. The last month the teacher has called twice during the day saying that he will not listen or sit and just wants to run around and do what he wants to do. I have tried taking things away, everything I can think of. Well this week his teacher called and said he cannot come back until Monday and that if she has to call one more time he is kicked out. Father's day gift???

We didn't have much extra money for this fathers day so we bought a poster board and folded it in half to make a huge card. We wrote happy fathers day on the front and a message on the inside. We wrote some of the letters backwards to make it cute, like a little kid did it. And then we bought her daddys favorite gum and favorite cigars and taped them to the card! We also put a few funny pictures of baby and daddy in the card. It's very inexpensive and it turned out really cute!

Last month my period came at 24 days, but really full on at 25 days (usually I'm 28 days, very rarely not so maybe the brought it on). I had unprotected the day before I got my period. I have had 2 instances of unprotected (used pull out but not sure if he did all the way) since my period was done. I am currently on day 25 of my cycle. Weird thing is...I've never had a period where my didn't hurt before. Last month they did not hurt beforehand (maybe slightly), and now this month they do not hurt at all either...usually I get VERY sore for a full week before. I feel dull aching in my lower abdomen but not exactly what I would describe as menstrual cramps...feels a bit different. Doctor gave me 2 pregnancy tests because last week thought I was having a gall bladder attack, bad side pain but that's gone now. They were both negative. Not sure what to think? Any ideas from anybody? By the way, please be respectful as I am only asking for advice and am mature enough to take responsibility for my actions. Thank you :)

Is there anything I can do to help with allergies while pregnant?

I am 7 wks pregnant and have very bad allergies. I usually take a nasal spray that they took me off of when we found out I was pregnant. For the past week it has been awful! Stomach Pain after eating, getting worse!!?

For the past 6 months, I have been experiencing a severe pain between my rib cage after eating, the pain is below my bone and stops about 3 inches above my navel. Memorial fundraising?

I have been trying to think of ways to honor my niece who was killed at her school last April, she was hit by a flagpole at her school, she was 5. The school is not cooperating and have used her name to further their own agendas, whole nother story. My feeling is this. The West goes about arming regimes because 'it is good for business' in our own countries. And then God forbid, they damn well start using them against their own citizens. Well we can't have that can we? So in goes NATO to try to make the point that this is not acceptable. The reason that Mubarak was left alone and to some extent Syria is that they didn't make the mistake of Gadaffi. Namely that he explicitly stated he was going to go after his rebels with all his western supplied military might. A red rag to a bull. ad and Mubarak at least made the pretence of offering reform first. This doesn't make them any better, particularly ad. And the UN resolutions condemning ad reflect that. But the idea that the Libyan rebels are getting help solely because Libya has oil is to me just a coincidence. Gadaffi was stupid and he is now paying the price. He's been indicted by the ICC as a result whereas the likes of Mubarak face prosecution in their own countries. I actually abhor what NATO is doing to Libya, because in the end there will just be a pile of rubble where Libya once stood. And that is not good for the suffering population of Libya whichever side they are on. That is the futility of air strikes. You go in, bomb like mad and then expect whoever takes over to somehow pick up the pieces. Its blunt, it's brutal, but people like Gadaffi bring it on themselves at the end of the day.
