Was Jesus compionate to those who didn't agree with Him instantly?

I believe it was difficult for Jesus the carpenter, messenger of God Almighty to tell them what to do. One has to remember that Jesus was a Jew and was raised as such. It was written in scripture that he would have to give up his life on earth to amend for the sins of man. In actuality both the Jewish and Catholic religions are very much the same as is with all Christians.
