Faint line 11 dpo first response? Help!?

I took a test 10dpo and got a neg on an Answer test. Then that night my started hurting and got a little swollen. That usually doesn't happen 5-6 days from my period. Anyway, today 11 dpo I took a FResponse test and after like 2 min I could see what looked like a shadow of a line. So i walked away. I didn't wait the 3 full min (wasn't thinking...my 1st pregnancy showed up in like 5 seconds). So I got to thinking about it and a while later, I went back and got it out of the trash to see a faint line. It was darker on the bottom end because of the way it was laying in the trash. Anyway, I know it says not to read the test after 10 min, but every forum I have read says a positive is a positive due to the fact that it's is meant to read the hormone. So even a faint line wouldn't show unless there was hormone detection? What do you think? Obviously I will retest in a few days, but my question is: Is a faint line, even after time has ped, still a positive with First response?
