Roommate and moving out?

You need to tell him why you can no longer live with him. Let him know what bothers you about the situation. I would still leave and if you can move today I would but I would still give him whatever money is owed towards the rent. I wouldn't trust my belongings in that place after today. So speak your peace, pack up and leave.
