I went to my Immigration interview on December 2005.?

My case is pending with the FBI, they are going to look at my background. I don’t have any felonies; I have the Employment Authorization card for about 3 years now. I been calling my lawyer and he is always telling me the same thing. I want to know if I can do something to make this go faster, how long that’s it take for the FBI to run my back ground. My mother and sister when to the interview the same time, and they have there green card since 2006. Do I need to pay more money or what? They brought me to the United States when I was 8 years old and now I’m 24 years old. Please tell me what to do to get my green card, if you know of something please let me know.
